in Pain

Dear child,

Little did I know that
one day life will separate us
being away from you
has really taught me
how to fight and be strong
just for you my child

I am fighting this battle
when I know that
I am coming out as a winner soon
without you, my child
I would have lost it a long time ago

The road that I am on right now
I almost lost hope but
whenever I think
of you, dear child
I always gather strength
and I want to come out
as a winner.
